In 2009, the Florida Legislature hiked a number of DMV fees. The cost of a driver’s license, for instance, increased 44%, from $27 to $48. The fee for an initial registration of a vehicle, meanwhile, more than doubled from $100 to $225. Fees affecting specialty license plates are as follows: | |||
