» Ken Smith has been named Alico's executive vice president and COO. He had been vice president of agricultural operations for the Atlanticblue Group, a major Alico shareholder.

» Osprey Biotechnics appointed Lauren Danielson its new president and CEO. Danielson, an attorney, is the daughter of founder and former chairman Larrick Glendening, who died earlier this year. Danielson had been executive vice president.

» Kent Lydecker has been named director of the St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts. Lydecker, who most recently taught museum studies at Johns Hopkins University, replaces John Schloder, who retired after leading the museum for 10 years.
