Harris Private Bank opened a new location in Sarasota. The move to the new office marked the first time that Harris Private Bank and M&I Wealth Management, both part of BMO Financial Group, have shared offices in Florida. A. Scott Hansen, managing director of Harris Private Bank in Naples, says, “We like emerging markets and large-cap domestic stocks best. Greece is not a huge risk for the U.S. I believe gold has gone from being a short-term trade to a long-term holding — and that it should be a small part of every portfolio.”
