21% Increase in home sales — including existing single-family homes and condos — in the third quarter 2010 compared with the year-earlier period

9 Consecutive months of home sales increases

-1% Drop in sales of existing single-family homes in the third quarter 2010

43% Increase in sales of existing condos vs. third quarter 2009

$191,100 Median sales price for single-family homes, down 1% from a year earlier

$104,600 Median sales price for condominiums, down 24% from a year earlier

-7% Drop in housing inventory in Miami-Dade County vs. a year earlier
