USDA announces $2.36 billion program to help Florida growers hurt by Irma

Help is on the way for Florida's growers hurt by Hurricane Irma. The U.S. Department of Agriculture has implemented a federal aid program to help the state's growers and other farmers recover from hurricanes and other natural disasters last year. See the full announcement about the $2.36 billion to help agricultural producers recover after last year's hurricanes and wildfires from the USDA, here. Florida's population, economy are growing

Florida is growing at a crazy pace. The state's population now tops 21 million — 21,162,207 to be exact. That’s 430,000 more people in just one year, a gain in excess of 2.0%. This is a crazy pace.
