› Kravis Center unveils its $40 million redesign vision
A $40 million redesign to better integrate the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts into its urban surroundings won city commission approval. The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts will have a bigger lobby and its front plaza will feature a smaller fountain, allowing a more pedestrian friendly approach.

South Florida is on tap as an emerging market in the booming beer business. The American Craft Brewing Industry, run by small and independent craft brewers, contributes more than 67-billion dollars to the U.S. economy.

› JinkoSolar establishing first U.S. factory in Florida
Juno Beach-based NextEra Energy Inc. and China-based JinkoSolar Holding Co. Ltd. have announced a new solar panel supply deal. In addition, JinkoSolar has revealed its first U.S. factory location.

› Sarasota Memorial and Florida Blue reach insurance deal
Some 30,000 local residents covered by the health insurer Florida Blue got some peace of mind Friday when a last-minute contract agreement came together with Sarasota Memorial Hospital and its affiliated doctors and urgent care centers.
