» Former Lt. Gov. Jeff Kottkamp joined Messer, Caparello and Self in Tallahassee.

» Vivian de las Cuevas Diaz, a partner in Broad and Cassel's Miami office, has been elected president-elect of the Cuban American Bar Association. Also, Nicolette Vilmos has been named partner at Broad and Cassel in Orlando.

» Fort Myers-based Pavese Law Firm has named Eric D. Molina an equity partner.

» Kevin White, a Florida Supreme Court acting marshal, lost his job following accusations of sexual harassment. He had worked for the court since 1997.
