A former Florida judge is joining the race to replace Attorney General Pam Bondi. Ashley Moody, a Republican, announced her candidacy on Monday. She opened her campaign account last week.
› South Florida's No. 1 private company names chairman, president
Two veteran leaders of JM Family Enterprises Inc. have taken on new roles at the company. Colin Brown, who has served as president and chief executive officer since 2003, has added the role of chairman to his title.

› St. Johns County ends evacuation re-entry tag program
After lessons learned from evacuations during Hurricane Matthew, St. Johns County has elected to end its evacuation re-entry tag program for hurricanes. In the past, green re-entry tags were issued to residents east of the Intracoastal Waterway and business owners were given two orange tags per business.
