Florida retailers prepare for Halloween boost

Halloween is fun but it also happens to be a sweet treat for the economy. According to the National Retail Federation, consumers are expected to dish out a record $8.4 billion, or an average of $82.93 per person, for Halloween 2016. More than 2.1 million Floridians have voted in election

New numbers released Thursday by the state Division of Elections show more than 585,000 voters have gone to early voting sites that opened in 50 counties. Another 1.54 million voters sent in their ballots by mail. More from the AP.
