› First Coast home construction continues upward trend
Housing construction in Northeast Florida is continuing along the same growth path it’s been on. A total of 751 building permits were issued for new single-family homes last month. That’s the most for an August since 2005.

› Ultra low-cost flights to Iceland, Barcelona from South Florida will launch in 2017
Starting next spring, a new crop of transatlantic flights — to top European and Nordic destinations — will be available for South Floridians at a fraction of the previous cost.
