Election officials say Florida vote is secure

Florida elections officials have pushed back at suggestions that this year’s voting results could be hacked or otherwise threatened by a cyberattack. Two recent columns in The Washington Post, including one by an expert in cybersecurity, raised the possibility of a foreign power hacking U.S. voting machines. Working families can’t get by on Florida’s minimum wage, study says

Florida’s minimum wage of $8.05 per hour isn’t enough to lift many working families out of poverty, according to a new study. In fact, it’s so low that it could discourage a second parent in a two-parent family from working because the cost of child care and transportation would outweigh any earnings.
