U.S., world stock markets slide as panic in China spreads

Global stock markets fell for a sixth day Thursday as another collapse in China’s ailing share market spread like contagion across the world. In the United States, as of 2:00pm Eastern, the DOW was down 2.03%, S&P was down 2.10% and the Nasdaq was down 2.72%. Full story here. Port Canaveral commissioners to choose from 3 CEO finalists

Three finalists remain in the running to become Port Canaveral's new chief executive officer. Jurors for One Spark 2016 announced

One Spark festival organizers appointed 18 people to serve as jurors who will select participants in this year’s event and help judge winners in various competitions. In an effort to streamline the fourth annual festival, organizers already indicated they would reduce the number of “creators” from about 500 to about 300 at this year’s event. Miami-Dade pursuing ferry service to Cuba from PortMiami

The largely undeveloped plot of land at PortMiami where David Beckham once wanted a soccer stadium is poised to test just how much the politics of Cuba have changed in Miami.
