› Florida Power & Light aims to buy, close coal plant in Jacksonville
Florida Power & Light Co. announced Friday it wants to quickly purchase and then shutter a relatively modern coal-burning plant, saying the move would cut costs and cap "a very high emitter of carbon dioxide."

› More people calling Tampa's West Shore business district home sweet home
A few years ago, West Shore primarily evoked images of shopping malls and office parks. But now, the area whose urban amenities and easy access to almost every place in Tampa Bay are making it one of the region's up-and-coming residential markets.

› Where are all the women law partners?
Nationally, the percent of women law partners is slim. In a 2014 Catalyst Women in Law Survey of the 50 best law firms for women, only 19 % of the equity partners were women. The survey also shows women lawyers made 78.9% of men lawyers’ salaries in 2013.
