Pratt & Whitney is a United Technologies company engaged in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines, space propulsion systems and industrial gas turbines. The expansion of its manufacturing facility in West Palm Beach to accommodate the production of new engines for the Airbus A320 commercial jetliner and the assembly and testing of engines for F-35 military jets represents a capital investment of $63.7 million and 230 new jobs.

“This expansion involves Pratt & Whitney’s most advanced commercial and military engines and builds upon the great work already being done here. We look forward to continued strong cooperation with the state of Florida and Palm Beach County.”
