Genting sees income drop, but profits still high

Genting, the Malaysian casino giant with expansion plans in Miami and Bimini, reported a drop in profits worldwide at the start of the year. But the company remains extremely profitable. Genting, which purchased the former Miami Herald site in 2011 and is about to open a Bimini casino, reported a first-quarter profit of $272 million. [Source: Miami Herald]


License-free saltwater fishing days 2013

If you've never tried fishing, here are a couple of chances to go without buying a license. Florida Fish and Wildlife is offering two license-free fishing days. This Saturday is for saltwater fishing and June 8 is for freshwater. More from WEAR and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
