» Steven P. Johnson will be the new president and CEO of Brevard's Health First hospital chain, succeeding the system's founder and top executive, Michael Means, who retires at the end of 2011. Johnson was president of hospital operations for SSM Health Care/St. Louis, a seven-hospital system in Missouri.

» Daytona Beach-based Innovation Research Engineering and Development, which makes vertical wind turbines, appointed veteran project manager Michael Moser COO.
