Virginia Wetherell has been elected to the board of directors of Memphis-based Buckeye Technologies. Wetherell is president of Tallahassee-based Wetherell Consulting and a former secretary of the Department of Environmental Protection. Buckeye operates a specialty cellulose plant at Perry, where the company is proposing a $65-million cleanup project for the Fenholloway River.
