Ron Kovack, chairman of Fort Lauderdale-based Kovack Securities, was elected to the National Association of Securities Dealers' district committee for the region that includes Florida and the Southeast. Meanwhile, his son, Brian Kovack, the fi rm's president, was elected to the NASD's national board of governors.
? Robert A. Beck II, founder of Fort Lauderdale-based AlphaStaff Group, was named to the board of directors of the Florida Association of Professional Employer Organizations.
? Alberto F. Couto was named executive vice president and chief operating offi cer at the Easton Group, a commercial real estate fi rm in Miami. He was most recently vice president for fi nance and risk management at Burger King Corp.
? EADS Barfi eld tapped Anthony Imparato as senior vice president of quality at the Miami-based aviation services concern. Imparato was most recently vice president of operations for Kellstrom Industries.
