? Manny Linares was promoted to chief executive offi cer of North Shore Medical Center in Miami. He had been chief operating offi cer at the 357-bed facility, which is owned by Tenet Healthcare.
? Fritz Hawkins was named general sales manager of the Keyes Co. He was most recently vice president/regional manager for Keyes' southern region.
? Members of the Martin County Bar Association have selected Portia B. Scott, of Scott & Scott in Stuart, as president-elect. Scott is the pro-bono chair for the 19th Judicial Circuit, which includes Martin, St. Lucie, Okeechobee and Indian River counties.
