REAL ESTATE ? Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts was selected to operate Sian Ocean Resort Residences on the Intracoastal Waterway on Hollywood Beach. The 311-unit condo/hotel is slated to open this month, according to MCZ/Centrum Development Corp. and MHI Hospitality Corp., a lodging real estate investment trust. The property is part of a nineacre resort complex stretching from the ocean to the Intracoastal. ? Jorge Perez's Related Group unveiled a project aimed at helping address the need for workforce housing in Miami. The developer, which has a division focused on "attainable housing," plans to build Loft 3, a 495-unit condominium project with about 15,000 square feet of retail space, at 201 N.E. 2nd Ave. in Miami. Units will start at $159,000 with deposits as low as 5%; 70% of the condos in the 32-story project will be priced under $300,000, Related Group says. ? SMK Cape Horn Development Group opened a sales office at Biscayne Centre as it redevelops the eight-story building at 11900 Biscayne Blvd. in North Miami into an offi ce condominium.
