Behind-the-scenes at Art Basel Miami Beach 2011

| 12/1/2011

After a year of planning, the day is finally here: The 10th edition of Art Basel Miami Beach opens at noon. Called "the most prestigious art show in the Americas," the show features more than 260 leading galleries from North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa. There will be works by more than 2,000 artists of the 20th and 21st centuries.

In the gallery below, photographer Bill Wisser captured some of the activity that has gone on in the days leading up to Art Basel.
