Betsy McCoy
Chief Legal Officer Betsy McCoy created a department for The Related Group that American Legal Media named among the four best in corporate America. For 15 years she has addressed all legal aspects of The Related Group’s real estate development and property management, including government affairs, litigation avoidance, corporate compliance and resolution logistics. McCoy chairs the High-Rise Council of the Builders Association of South Florida and has fostered initiatives to make development less costly while preserving consumer protections. As an adjunct professor of law at the University of Miami, McCoy passes to the next generation of attorneys her passion for real estate development as problem solving.
