The national board of directors for the American Liver Foundation announced the election of a new board chair, Emmanuel Thomas, MD, PhD, FAASLD, Associate Professor, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Thomas previously served ALF as a national board member, medical advisor, and chair of the board nominating committee.
