Beverly L. Frank, AIA, LEED AP, of Tampa, is the new president of AIA Florida. Frank is an architect whose work spans multiple universities, municipal and civic work, and projects for Tampa Bay Lightning. "Architects commit to building a world that is more beautiful and more resilient," she said. "We are also entrusted with the health, safety, and welfare of our communities." Frank, a first generation Korean American, is the first graduate of the University of South Florida and the first Asian American woman to lead AIA Florida. AIA Florida, the Florida Association of the American Institute of Architects, represents more than 3,900 members.
