Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization (CEO) Partners with Harness to Create a Global Entrepreneurial Community

Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization is excited to announce it has partnered with Harness to create an online support network for college students launching new ventures.

Harness provides a university or college student entrepreneurial ecosystem with the best method for tracking, engaging and advancing the innovation community on campus. The partnership between CEO and Harness grants the CEO global network access to a campus-specific, white-label edition of the Harness platform at a 92% discount, made possible by sponsors of CEO.

CEO chapters that choose to launch Harness will benefit from a custom-branded online community featuring student business profiles. Students can use their profiles to connect with mentors, investors and advisors to test their idea, and to network, locate resources, give and receive advice and build teams to help accelerate the growth of their venture.

“In the entrepreneurship academic discipline, we’ve often discussed the necessity to end the silos of education for entrepreneurs. As we onboard the 250 CEO chapters and expand the Harness user count, collegiate entrepreneurs will benefit from a more equitable and diverse community of support for new venture creation,” said James Zebrowski, CEO’s executive director.

Jeremy Hammer, cofounder and CEO of Harness, believes that entrepreneurship is the lifeblood of the future. “It allows us to continuously change our world and lives for the better,” he said.

Harness has successfully launched at many campuses worldwide and the CEO-Harness partnership will help to expand the platform. Rhonda Shrader, head of the Berkeley-Haas Entrepreneurship Program said that Harness is “the most effective tool to support, track and engage our innovation community”
