Jacksonville University takes a community approach to its nursing simulation program

With a mission to reduce medical errors, Jacksonville University has opened its nursing simulation facility to the Northeast Florida medical community.
In September 2019, the college leased an 18,500-sq.-ft. space on the former Virginia College campus to build a $2-million training facility.
The Healthcare Simulation Center at the Jacksonville University Brooks Rehabilitation College of Healthcare Sciences works with hospitals, physician offices and long-term care facilities to provide their nurses with realistic learning experiences.
