Spa Trek

Unwinding: Massages at the N reagan Spa, which opens this month, start at $115 for a full hour.

Guests at the Delray Beach Marriott at Atlantic Avenue and the Atlantic Ocean have their choice of more than 100 boutiques, galleries, cafes and restaurants in a brickpaved shopping district just steps away. But the hotel is adding amenities it hopes will keep them mostly on the hotel's grounds.

This month, Marriott is opening a two-story N Reagan Spa, including a fi tness facility, his and her lounges, pool, Jacuzzi and treatment rooms.

"It adds a great value for our customers -- another amenity for them that they don't have to leave the property to enjoy," says the hotel's general manager, Bob LaCasse.

The spa is a joint project between the hotel and longtime local spa owner Nancy Reagan, no relation to the former fi rst lady. The fi tness center will offer yoga, pilates, tai chi and a business lunch deal that includes a 25-minute facial or massage.

Normal service at the spa costs $115 for a one-hour massage and $115 to $350 for a facial with anti-aging skin-care products.

Room rates range from $99 a night in summer months for Florida residents to $399 a night in season.
