To qualify for recognition as a Notable Intellectual Property Attorney, nominees must meet the following criteria:
- Be based in Florida and in good standing with the Florida Bar Association.
- Be a practicing attorney specializing in intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights or trade secrets, at a firm with at least 10 employees.
- Have at least 10 years of experience practicing law.
- Demonstrate measurable impact in intellectual property law through significant casework, transactions, portfolio development or policy contributions.
- Mentor or sponsor fellow attorneys and promote professionalism and ethical practices within their workplace.
- Exhibit leadership in professional organizations and participate in civic or community initiatives, including pro bono work.
- Each law firm may have no more than five attorneys recognized in this category
