Beverly L. Frank, AIA, LEED AP, of Tampa, is the new president of AIA Florida. Frank is an architect whose work spans multiple universities, municipal and civic work, and projects for Tampa Bay Lightning. "Architects commit to building a world that is more beautiful and more resilient," she said. "We are also entrusted with the health, safety, and welfare of our communities." Frank, a first generation Korean American, is the first graduate of the University of South Florida and the first Asian American woman to lead AIA Florida. Matt Rapp is the new board chair of North Florida Land Trust and Charley Moore has joined the board of directors. Rapp will serve a two-year term. He joined the board in 2019 and was vice chair in 2022. Rapp is the PGA TOUR's senior vice president of Championship Management.
