David Bear, Owner and CEO of The Lewis Bear Company, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition (IHMC). Bear is the founder of the Bear Family Foundation, which has awarded millions in grants to more than 118 nonprofits. He has chaired numerous boards, advanced cultural initiatives, and upholds his family’s legacy of public service.
