The Animal Welfare League (AWL) of Charlotte County welcomes Melissa Lockhart as a new Board Member. Lockhart, a small business owner and City Councilmember in Punta Gorda, is co-owner of Helping Hands SWFL and Native Sun Pools. Her years of service include leading neighborhood associations, supporting Alzheimer’s and veterans' organizations, and participating in city advisory roles.
