The Florida Senate confirmed David Genson, President of Development, Barron Collier Companies (BCC), to the Florida Transportation Commission. Re-appointed by Gov. DeSantis, Genson has served on the Florida Transportation Commission since 2018 and is currently Vice-Chairman of the Commission. The role of the commission is to act as the citizens’ oversight board for the Florida Department of Transportation.
