As director of the Senior Citizen Law Project in Fort Lauderdale, Sarah Barker supervises the Senior Law Unit staff, conducts regular case review meetings and formulates litigation strategy. Under her guidance, the project provides free civil legal services to low-income seniors aged 60 years and older, as well as caregivers, addressing issues such as landlord-tenant disputes, foreclosure defense, consumer law, immigration, abuse, exploitation and access to health and public benefits. Also, she provides education throughout Broward County on scam and elder abuse prevention.
