As chief of the felony division, Damaris Del Valle is known for her litigation skills, having secured at least 10 successful jury verdicts in complex homicide and major crime cases in the past two years. Additionally, she has served on the boards for several organizations, including Legal Services of Greater Miami and the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers – Miami Chapter. She is also the first board president for the Empowerment Zone Reentry Initiative, which helps formerly incarcerated individuals as they reenter the community.
