In the firm’s land use/zoning group, Fort Lauderdale partner Matthew Scott advises developers and landowners on real estate projects, municipal law and commercial transactions. His work encompasses South Florida’s entitlement process, coordinating with design teams, managing applications, and engaging with officials and stakeholders to secure approvals. Beyond entitlements, he handles code variances for docks, piers and boat lifts, as well as conditional use permits, enforcement issues, procurement and transactions. He is actively committed to civic service through efforts with the Broward League of Cities.
