Miami partner Alexander Tachmes is the firm’s statewide chair of the land use and zoning practice group, handling a range of local government matters statewide. His work includes site plan applications, public hearings, historic preservation and land use litigation. He also oversees code enforcement, public records and Sunshine Law issues, procurement, public-
private partnerships and lobbying. Tachmes is a founder of Mount Sinai Medical Center and has served on the board of several community organizations, including the Miami City Ballet and Jewish Community Services.
