Following a merger in 2025 of firms in Pensacola, William Mitchem has successfully strengthened and expanded legal services, establishing a strong real estate practice with lawyers who handle both real property transactions and real estate finance. He also added notable bench strength to the office’s transaction and litigation groups. Mitchem has served as president of Fiesta Pensacola, a nonprofit that celebrates Pensacola’s history, and president of the Arc Gateway Foundation, which raises money to support programs benefiting people with developmental disabilities.
