Golden Spoon

The key local ingredient is chef David Benstock, native talent who saw the world and brought home a modern take on Italian. Now he’s schooling St. Pete diners (and chefs) in the likes of octopus puttanesca, oxtail cavatappi, parnsips and even hamachi collar with chilis. Five-course tasting of Benstock’s food at $80 is a steal. The Benstocks cross the bay with Semolina in Tampa in 2020.
