This year, the MBA program at the University of North Florida's Coggin College of Business is placing greater emphasis on developing leaders who are fluent in both core business fundamentals and emerging tools.
"This is an MBA built for people who want to grow as leaders while staying fully engaged in their careers," says Amy Bishop, director of Coggin's graduate and executive programs. A major update is the introduction of new MBA concentrations in artificial intelligence, fintech and business analytics. "These pathways are designed to build practical capability in areas that are shaping how organizations make decisions, manage risk, and find new opportunities."
Rather than concentrating on traditional academic research, the UNF MBA emphasizes application. "Students do not just learn concepts; they practice making recommendations, defending decisions and communicating tradeoffs," Bishop explains. Coursework centers on real organizational scenarios, data analysis and evidence-based decision-making.
