"I think you have to do something absolutely crazy at least once a year, something that is just beyond your imagination."
She jumped out of airplanes, flew in an F-16 and an F-18, and helped lead a $3-billion university to one of the most prestigious academic distinctions in the country.
But Rhea Law will tell you she's not done yet.
Law served as president of the University of South Florida, where she helped USF earn membership in the Association of American Universities — a milestone she calls transformative for the entire academic community.
Before USF, she was president and CEO of Fowler White Boggs and later chair of the Florida offices of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney — career chapters built on a law degree she funded by cashing out her own vested retirement.
"I'm not going to learn how to knit," she told Florida Trend.
