$95,000 Watch

Swiss watchmaker Vianney Halter has designed a statement piece that retails for $95,000. Halter, who has been associated with luxury timepieces such as Audemars Piguet, Harry Winston and Franck Muller, founded his company in 1993 in St. Croix, Switzerland, and his unique designs are now available for the first time at jeweler Tracy Dara Kamenstein's shop on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach.

Halter is unknown to the masses, says Kamenstein, who became the East Coast's exclusive dealer for Halter, but he's well-revered among the who's-who of the industry. Kamenstein currently is selling the Antiqua. The unique, rose gold timepiece has a perpetual calendar and a completely hand-made automatic mechanical movement. Kamenstein also has another Halter design on order, the Trio, a yellow gold rectangular watch.

What's New

? Burberry is coming to Tampa's International Plaza this spring. The venerable British clothier with the signature black, tan and red plaid introduced the trench coat to fashion in the late 1800s. This will be the luxury label's sixth Florida store. It will sell both men's and women's clothing, but the company won't say whether it will be offering its made-to-order trench coat service.

? Bogosse is taking its men's shirt line a bit further this spring, introducing several beyond-the-button-down styles. The Miami-based fashion newcomer is run by the Tardieu brothers: Patrick, a world-class soccer player, and Fabrice, formerly an executive with Armani Paris. This season, they've introduced three new styles: The Moroccan-style tunic in bright colors, the Back Epaulet shirt with a removable epaulet giving the shirt several different looks, and the Watch Shirt with a window at the cuff to reveal a wristwatch. The Bogosse line is currently available at Lulu Couture in Miami.

MenScience travel kit

? MenScience has introduced a travel kit to make life easier for the business traveler who wants to avoid hassles at the airport. The Miami-based skin-care product company is packaging 10 of its basic skin-care products in 2-ounce, Transportation Security Administration compliant containers.
