Visual Tour: How a Real Diamond Is Made In Days
An inside look at the Gemesis plant in Sarasota.
It doesn't take a million years anymore to create a real diamond. With some high-powered machines that generate 850,000 pounds of pressure and 2,800 degrees of heat, one tiny seed grows into a sparkling yellow diamond, found to be very rare in nature. The company plans to introduce pink diamonds in 2008.
