Florida Biofuel Status Report

    A number of Florida communities, including Pinellas and Lee counties, burn waste, including biomass, to produce energy. Some of the following startup ventures plan to use biomass to generate power. Others plan to use biomass to produce ethanol. All have final permits. The only plant operating, however, is the UF facility.
