    Paul Tash, the longtime editor, CEO and chairman of the Tampa Bay Times, has been appointed a Distinguished Fellow at Duke University’s DeWitt Wallace Center for Media & Democracy. While he was chairman of the Times, it won eight Pulitzer Prizes. Tash served on the boards of leading journalism organizations, including the Associated Press, the Committee to Protect Journalists and the Pulitzer Prizes, where he was chairman. Tash remains the chairman of the Poynter Institute for Media Studies, which advances journalism that serves democracy across the U.S. and around the world.
