Aside from being the Miami firm’s office managing shareholder, D. Porpoise Evans advises public and private companies on employment law matters, wage and hour compliance, discrimination claims, breach of contract, leave and disability accommodation, and workplace safety. Evans regularly defends employers in federal and state courts, as well as before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Florida Commission on Human Relations. He also advises multinational companies regarding the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and represents Financial Industry Regulatory Authority member firms in arbitrations.
