With 28 years in law, Jorge Piedra has been the firm’s managing partner for two years. Additionally, Piedra manages a regular case load, including an assortment of complex litigation. In South Florida’s Surfside condo-collapse case, he recovered $1.1 billion. The firm specializes in commercial litigation centered on class actions, health care and bankruptcy. Piedra is a past president of the Cuban American Bar Association and a member of the Florida Bar board of governors. He has donated his time, talents and resources to supporting organizations such as the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana.
