With more than 30 years of assembling and managing a seven-office medical malpractice defense law firm, Louis La Cava is as much a builder as he is an attorney. From St. Petersburg, La Cava has expanded the firm statewide, while maintaining his trial practice. He has been extensively involved in defending negligence cases against physicians, dentists, hospitals, psychologists, licensed mental health counselors, nursing homes and assisted-living facilities. Also, he is a frequent lecturer at risk management seminars for the health care industry. In the community, he volunteers and supports numerous charitable foundations and nonprofit organizations.
