She successfully represented a client after the IRS wanted to assess over $1 million in taxes. She resolved a dispute between beneficiaries over inheritance of a home. As chair she initiated a part-time structure after maternity leave. After seven years as chair, Johnson was named chair emeritus. She is on the board of Camp Boggy Creek.
