At civil litigation firm Boyd & Jenerette, board-certified Kansas Gooden is general counsel and leads the appellate practice group. She chairs the Florida Bar’s Appellate Practice Section and is one of the only attorneys (and likely the only woman) to have argued two cases on the same day before the Florida Supreme Court. She provides litigation and trial support to attorneys statewide and is a past president of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association. Gooden was the Virginia State Girls Golf Champion in 1997 and 1999.
