Michael Fichtel became in 2010 the first CEO of Kelley Kronenberg, with 15 offices and 200-plus lawyers. As managing partner his focus is strategy and personnel. He set up a compensation structure that lets partners directly and transparently benefit from their labor. To facilitate innovation and autonomy, collaboration and support, Fichtel grew IT and recruited a business-support team that helps guide financial operations and business development. Outside the firm, Fichtel is a member of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity.
